By 22 I was working in a job earning as much as my 40 y.o. colleagues. I worked with clients who landed roles in well-known companies (Google, Apple, Salesforce, etc) as well as smaller ones.

In the past 7 years of coaching mid-to-senior career professionals, I know what works and what doesn’t. I understand what employers are looking for because I’ve seen what happens on both sides of the hiring table.

The FORMAL METHOD

I don’t just give my clients a fish. I help them learn to fish. And enjoy it.

This means that not only you will get to land at least 2 job offers that fit your career aspiration but learn to market yourself effectively for the rest of your career – even if you’ve never been good at bragging about yourself.

After landing a high-paying job at HSBC right out of university—earning as much as a 40-year-old when I was just 22—I realised the approach I used wasn’t something common. And after testing it successfully with my clients who didn’t have the “formal” experience for those roles, I broke it down into a repeatable process I call FORMAL.

Another reason why this works really well is that you’ll spend

  • 10% of your time applying online, and only for roles you’ve already been pre-qualified
  • The rest will be on landing interviews without applying online, thus avoiding the competition.

Sessions 1 & 2:

Removing The Emotional
“Baggage”

(Additional practice sessions can be added if new fears or negative emotions arise later in the process.)

When you go through difficult events such as failure to secure a job or low confidence, you often create an identity to cope with it – e.g. “hurt or disappointed employee” along with it limiting beliefs and fears – which then holds you back. In 2 sessions, you’ll learn how to remove identities that keep you stuck with associated negative emotions.

For example, we’ll work on releasing fears – e.g. “the grass won’t be greener” – and any other negative emotions about changing jobs, companies, or industries, so you can regain trust and confidence in yourself.

This is a tool/method you can use for the rest of your life, whenever negative events happen. Session 2 can be done immediately after Session 1 or whenever something comes up that’s holding you back.

Prep required:
1.5 hours to go through some resources and best practices.
